Delaney Derry
Delaney Derry started writing for The Newton Community Magazine in 2026. She grew up in Oxford, graduated from Loganville Christian Academy and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, where she served as the opinion editor and editor-in-chief of the school’s newspaper: The Colonnade. Her work has also appeared in The Covington News. Delaney is currently working toward a master’s degree in theological studies. She has a dedicated passion for writing and exploring the intersections of art, life and faith. Delaney believes good stories not only help us see the world but ourselves more clearly, so she has a vested interest in sharing them with the community.
